Support
Email support@nauvis.app and you'll get a reply from the person who wrote the app. It helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and the display name you play under.
Changing your name
Open Profile from the avatar at the top left of the home screen and edit the name field. It's used at the table, in the match log and on the leaderboard, and you can change it as often as you like.
Names are checked on our server, so a name may come back shortened or replaced if it's too long or unsuitable. If yours changed unexpectedly, that's why.
What coins are for
Coins are the entry fee for ranked matches. They cannot be bought, are not money, and have no value outside the game. If you run low, your balance is topped up once a day when you open the app, so being out of coins is temporary and never costs you anything.
How ranked works
Ranked matches cost coins to enter and move a rating that resets each month. Empty seats are filled so a match can start promptly, and your placement against everyone at the table decides the rating change. The global leaderboard shows the current season.
Friends' matches don't affect your rating, but they do count toward the lifetime statistics on your profile — unless the table included bots below expert level, in which case they don't, so that easy games can't pad your record.
Playing with friends
Choose Online, create a private table, and share the code. Up to seven can play. Only the host can start the match. If someone loses signal their seat is held for a short while before a bot takes over, and they rejoin in the same seat if they get back in time.
Learning the game
The tutorial runs automatically the first time you open the app, and you can return to it any time from the book icon on the home screen. It's ten short lessons, five of them hands-on puzzles played with real cards.
Something's wrong
If a match won't start, a game gets stuck, or something looks broken, email support@nauvis.app with a description of what you were doing and a screenshot if you have one. Bug reports from players are the fastest way things get fixed.
