Terms of Use
Bridge Co is free, has no accounts, and sells nothing. These terms cover the few things that still need saying: play fairly, coins aren't money, and the online service is offered as-is.
Who these terms are with
Bridge Co is published by Nauvis, a sole proprietorship based in the United States. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use it. Your download is also covered by Apple's standard licence terms for App Store apps, which apply alongside these.
Fair play
When you play with other people, don't:
- choose a display name that is abusive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone else, or is designed to slip past the name filter;
- use modified clients, automation or bugs to gain an advantage, or deliberately manipulate ratings or leaderboards;
- deliberately quit or stall matches to spoil other players' games.
Names are checked on our server and unsuitable ones are replaced automatically. We may remove a player's access to online play for serious or repeated breaches. Solo play against bots is not affected.
Coins
Coins are an in-game entry fee for ranked matches. They are not money and not a currency: they cannot be purchased, cannot be exchanged for cash or anything of value, cannot be transferred between players, and carry no value outside the game.
Your balance is topped up automatically once a day, so running out is temporary. We may adjust coin amounts, entry fees or the top-up as the game is balanced. Coins can be removed or corrected where they were obtained through a bug or in breach of these terms.
Bridge Co is not gambling: no real money is staked, and nothing of monetary value can be won.
The online service
Online play depends on our server, which is offered as-is and without a guarantee of availability. It may be unavailable for maintenance, may lose a match in progress, and may be changed or discontinued. Ratings, coin balances, leaderboards and match history may be reset if it is necessary to fix a fault or rebalance a season.
Solo play works entirely on your device and doesn't depend on any of this.
Your content
The only thing you supply is a display name. You're responsible for it, and by entering one you allow us to show it to other players in the app and on the leaderboard.
Our content
The app, its name, artwork, design and code belong to Nauvis. You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app; you may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer or resell it, except where the law says you may regardless.
Liability
Bridge Co is provided without warranties, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory consumer rights, which these terms do not affect.
Changes
These terms may change as the game does. The review date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the updated terms.
